Line-tracing for laser engraving

To be able to get thin single lines for instance for text engraving with the laser engraver, there is a great plugin to Inkscape called „Centerline Trace“

Intallation

– click and install the setup.exe from https://github.com/jnweiger/autotrace/releases
– click and install the setup.exe from https://github.com/fablabnbg/inkscape-centerline-trace/releases

Restart inkscape. Load a bitmap, click to select
-> Extensions -> Images -> Centerline Trace …
